You have got to want it more than you are afraid of it not happening.
Every day, we have occasions to grow, change, and rise to the challenge in life. What may just look like another day is really a great opportunity to do something wonderful. True, almost all of the days we have may start as normal, but our plans that we have for ourselves, if instituted, can actually turn something lackluster into something, well, amazing. It takes effort. Lots and lots of effort. Everything in the world will be pushing you to just stay the same. Because this is where a lot of us are. We reside in the middle. Not in the sense of classes etc, but in the sense of what we happen to be doing with ourselves. When we start moving towards the edge, that's when things become exciting. But simultaneously, that's when the fear of the future becomes larger and greater. You have to determine for yourself if you will be O.K living in a place of heavy uncertainty and yet be committed to total belief in what you're actually doing. Trust me, it's hard.
Call it the universe, call it God, call it whatever it is that you want to call it, but the fact remains the same. You are here for a reason and you have skills that must be drilled into abilities. What ends up going down though is that we worry too much about what other folks think and we begin to worry that what we love isn't going to actually happen due to one reason or another.
Much of the time, the best ideas ideas die with the people that they live in. Many people take their dreams to the grave and never see them through because they are honestly just too scared. Fear is the most important killer of dreams. This may be dread of failing, fear of views, fear of ridicule...nonetheless, fear drives one to shrink in the possibility they have.
It'd be stupid for me to say to not be afraid. Anyone that says that they are not ever afraid should probably consult a medical practitioner. It is what you do after being terrified that counts. This is where courage comes in. Real courage is that mad 20 seconds after being deathly fearful where magic happens. It's fine to be afraid, but like I have said before, you have to desire it more than you are afraid of it. You have to decide that it's what you really want and then be white-hot and passionate about it. Without that call to rise to the challenge, you may squander back and forth for forever. Decide.
Be driven by everything and everyone telling you...no. Make that your fuel. Don't let it bring you down. Let it motivate you to keep going. The innovators that make the most important difference in this world are the ones who do not let the world outside effect their souls belief in their dreams. Shield your dreams with dragons, guards, and trolls. Do whatever you can to keep them safe and harbour that belief. Honestly, you would be stunned by how easy it is to let a voice or an opinion dig its way into your cavern and then slowly burn everything within. Only let people and words that continue your communicable belief in your purpose enter into your heart.
