Using The Greatest Secret Of Change

By Evan Sanders

The secret of change is to focus everything on creating what you can in the present, and letting yourself slip out of the past and the future.

How will we really change?

I am not talking about the kind of change that lasts for just a few months and then we return to the same things we really always used to do. No, I am talking about that everlasting change that allows us to move forward with our lives and leave our old ways behind. This is true change, change that will last forever. The secret is to commit everything you have in your life to building what you can in the present time.

The past will hold you down and the future will show you the greatest mirage of a place where it all turns out. Both these imaginary places are stunningly deadly because they keep us from being in action in the moment. Even though we can go there in our heads, we have to avoid living in these places at all costs.

Change isn't going to be straightforward. Consider how many people attempt to make great changes the on the first of the year...January 1. In fact, almost half of people that make New Years Resolutions fail by mid February. That disconnect is huge. So there must really be something incredibly shattered with that technique.

So what are we able to do?

Focus on one thing, every single day, to make yourself a tiny bit better in comparison to the day before and do that for as long as you possibly can. Absolutely do not get obsessed over the quantum leap where everything changes all at one single point in time - it is a lie. Target the daily chores you can perform and in time you may change more than you could possibly ever imagine.

Start the journey of change right now, one step at a time.

Don't wait.
