Strike And Strike Again

By Evan Sanders

I hate mentioning this, but for the mass majority fear is stronger than any other emotion in the world.

So, if you don't come ready to fight for what you really want in life, you're going to lose to it. This is just the reality. However, there is a way you can start to tackle your big dreams in life and combat fear.

The famous motivational speaker Eric Thomas tells a story about what happens when you try to cut a tree down. He says that if you strike a tree in 1,000 different places nothing much will happen to that tree. However, if you strike a tree 1,000 times in the same spot, that tree will fall. The same goes for your dreams.

The same thing is true for your dreams. You have got to strike and strike again without any doubt in your mind and have the will to see it all the way through. This tenacity is the only way you are going to be able to tackle big dreams in life. And when you finally accomplish those dreams, you're going to be able to start going after other goals and dreams.

Why is this so important? When you strike at the same point time and time again you hammer new skills and abilities into your foundation and build yourself into something you've never been before. Further, after you actually accomplish that goal, you give yourself a true sense of belief and trust that will help you move into whatever is next.

Every single time you stretch yourself and challenge yourself to seek out more in life you grow. You grow through the victories and defeats and embark on an adventure of consistent learning. This growth will help you tackle all of your other dreams in life which will further the continuous cycle of development.

Work on tackling your vision every single day.

We all are capable of so much and yet we do not really go after it for one reason or another. We must. We must give our gifts to the world - it should be no other way. So make the choice to be the king of your world. Tackle those big dreams with vigor and persistence. Never give up.

Who knows what might happen?
