Inspiration And Finding Your Path

By Kim Warrior

Many are seeking to follow their passions but having great difficulty. Inspiration is elusive and they are seeking ways and means to accomplish their goals and dreams in the most productive manner possible.

To some to be inspired is a bonus to the talents they already possess. Actually, to be inspired is the basis for any kind of creative undertaking. The actual outcome will depend on what your level of motivation and your level of talent is.

To be inspired actually takes work on your part. You cannot find it, it must find you, but you must create the right basis for it to appear. If you don't feel like working on a project, the best step to take is to work on it anyway. To just sit and wait for some type of epiphany to descend upon you and tell you what to do is not going to work. Know that everything you want or need will come to you in time, but you have to provide the path for it.

If you are a devoted writer, for example, you might have the mistaken belief that you cannot work unless you are inspired. This is exactly why so much great work is left totally and completely undone. The best route to take is to just sit down and begin to write even if it is just free writing. After a time, the muse will appear and letters and words will just flow from your fingers. You will feel as if it has nothing to do with you and be as if your hands were writing on their own.

How well you do will depend mostly on the talents you possess and the training you have had in your passion. A true artist will have the best communication between his fingers and what he is working on. The muse may seem totally separate from the individual but it definitely is not. All of your knowledge, past events, and your deepest dreams come from deep within you to create this work of art.

Tracking moments that you are inspired to find some type of pattern will be useless. It comes and goes as it pleases. The only thing that you maybe able to ascertain is what time of day that you are most likely to be inspired. For most, it is the early hours of morning when your mind and body are fresh and alive. For some, it is the later hours of the day such as early evening or around midnight.

Once you learn what it means to be totally and completely inspired, it may be time to begin helping others discover this great knowledge. Teaching them that waiting for the muse to strike is like wasting one's time and creativity may mean the difference between your and their success and failure. Building relationships and long lasting friendships may also be a final result of your assistance.

The message here is to never wait for the right moment to come. You must create those moments and then make the very best of them. Begin that latent masterpiece that is lurking inside of you. While it may not be perfect the first time around, it is a beginning for a new and fantastic lifestyle where your dreams and goals will come that much more easily to you.
