Considering the fact that the path one takes in life is never planned, there usually are moments where one is confused of the next step to take and are stuck trying to figure out the move to make. As far as being confused about career direction Canada has made some effort in trying to help individuals in realizing the path that is suitable for them and therefore pursuing a line of work that is fulfilling.

As years go by, the career choices one once had begin to change and at some point one even gets puzzled on what to pursue. This is among the toughest decision one makes in life hence the pressure that comes with making it especially since it greatly determines ones future.

Having an idea of what one wants to pursue in life when at a young age is very advantageous since one is able to nurture the skills they would require in their preferred line of work and as a result become the best at it even a young age. Parent and teacher play a major role in this point in life as they help one in identifying what one is good at and help in finding ways to pursue it.

It is said that talents come naturally but needs hard work to harness them and be the best one can be; identifying ones talents is among the best way to determine what career choices one can make. This is because it is in line with ones interests and one has a higher chance of succeeding in this field given their competent levels, owing to their talents.

With the education being among the determinants of the choices people are forced to make in life, it at times deprive people of the freedom they need to make these choices. For instance, to become a doctor, there is a certain grade one has to achieve and if not one is forced to abandon their dream and choose another field to venture in.

As a result, most people are stuck in careers they never dreamt of pursuing which in the long run affect their performance since they lack passion in their undertakings as they only do it to earn a living. One can only be the best they can be when doing what they love most as they do it out of love and do not need anyone to push them around given that they enjoy doing it.

The Canadian education system has over the past few years been seen trying to make an effort in remedying this. Some of these efforts entail constantly engaging students in career choices talks and guiding them on what to consider when making this decision, nurturing young talents and giving students the freedom to choose the subjects they want to major in.

Being indecisive of the choice one wants to make when it comes to choosing their path in life is not something new; in fact, everyone goes through this at some point and some even realize the wrong decision they made two year in college and have to change their majors. One has to focus on what they love, and if this changes with time, then their priorities should too.
