It never ceases to amaze me just how everything can change and yet things are entirely the same.
I guess what I'm talking about here is how quickly the world that lives in your mind can change. It can go from focusing so much on one thing...and then...SNAP...it changes to something else completely.
And whatever you were focusing on before disappears entirely. It decides to disintegrate when you have something new just spontaneously show up in your life.
As much as I didn't really didn't believe in good timing while I was young, it has become pretty obvious how important it is now.
I used to think that things, with enough effort, could be "made to happen." But, as time has gone on, I really have started to see the world as a gigantic ebb and flow of waves. Even more, I've realized the analogy of the "kid on the swing" is incredibly powerful. If you push at the wrong time...disaster strikes.
But if you push at the right time, there's hardly any effort involved.
This idea can drastically alter your life and makes you even consider the idea of patience. It can help you understand that patience is the mark of someone who truly shows up in the world "as it is" vs. how they want it to be.
And that never really works.
Patience and trust. Patience and trust are things that can guide you all the way to the end.
These things have filled me with new blood and given me massive amounts of energy to move forward through difficult times. These things have connected me back with my deep purpose and allowed for that purpose to come forward.
In time, everything changes. Sometimes it happens fast. Sometimes it happens slow. But the pace of this life is perfect in its own way.
