Loss is the most humiliating and difficult thing to undergo in an individual life, it can lead to paralyzing of all persons work and physical body to an extent of total seclusion. Loss is what brings about grief. This process can be so torturous and one that takes away an individual power to move on. Grief counseling ri is a lecture that should be given to people who are at a loss and are on the process of recovery.

This process though is a powerful one and should be given the respect it deserves and be left to resolve itself at its own speed. Those giving therapy are not supposed to speed up this process but instead they should accompany the person at the difficulty as he/she recovers. People suffer feeling through so many ways. It may be sickness of a person they most treasure, when they lose a person through death, loss of health well being or even wealth.

Severe losses are the most depressing type of feeling. For instance when someone you are close to is chronically sick and his problem has been diagnosed and said to be untreatable and the only option left is death. Such instances are dangerous to live with since they may affect one life unless an individual learns how to handle them. Sharing problems through this avenue has been known to greatly cut down the stress and feel much relieved.

To overcome grief on need to engage in alternative opportunities which can help one understand clearly his/her feelings and be of courage to take further steps and move on while grieving. No one really would like to stay in a state of oppression for long; it is then wise to include your brain in your work to avoid the risk that may come with oppression in loss grieving.

The losses people suffer are of great difference and so treatment of this feeling is not based on any typical models of the levels of grieving but special experience when in the loss state. It is more important to support an individual all through all types of moods he/she encounters which are directly or impliedly related to the loss.

This is what one needs when one feels shaken up and needs a lot of assistance in navigating through until the healing time is up. Many times the people experiencing it feel like it will never co me to an end for healing may take long time. However, compassion and guidance works for good to help ease up the whole situation.

Therapy comes in to help lighten the physical torture or signs as well as brings one to a comfort zone where he/she can face the untold future events without fear. Support is really needed to validate their undergoing while showing them that you share with them the pain they are in, helping normalize their conditions and making them understand the transitions that comes in after loss and most of all help them find themselves worth.

Mostly these people need someone who can listen to them in their struggle to redefine their dear life. If such a person if available he will help them redefine themselves as they go from one stage of loss to another.
