7 Cardinal Pillars From Blogs About Perseverance

By Rebecca Wilson

Perseverance is the secret to success. However, a lot of people lose hope along the way and abandon projects that would have brought them great success. Blogs about perseverance highlight some of the important elements that will help you keep at it despite facing numerous challenges. Here are some of them.

Set goals that are driven by passion. A person without goals will give up at the first smell of difficulty. It is the desire to achieve these goals that keeps you working hard and pursuing that which you wish to achieve. The goals set should have the ability to transform the lives of people around you. If the goals are forced or will not transform your life, you will have no energy or will to pursue them.

Align the voices in your head to your ultimate goal. The mind plays a major role in determining your rate of success. Negative voices in the head will affect the energy with which you pursue particular goals. If your mental attitude is positive, your entire system will be pointed towards the goals and therefore make them possible.

Enjoy repetition and you will achieve success. A lot of the work involves repetition of processes and procedures. Seek to perfect the motif and be more graceful while at it. You will spend less time, energy and effort once you master the repeated act. You might also discover new ways of doing it. This helps you get to your goal faster.

Believe in your capacity to get to the target. Self believe goes beyond having the skills. It also helps you to look for creative ways of doing the same thing especially when difficulties arise. Things get tough when you doubt your ability. Whether you try ten or twenty times, you maintain the belief that you can still hack it.

Enhance your skills if you feel that they are the reason you are not achieving whatever you desire. It is normal to get to a point where other people cannot be of help. Once you sharpen your skills, you eliminate some of the elements that would be causing you to slow down. This is an elimination approach to success.

Help is available if you ask for it. No person has the capacity to deliver on all projects alone. There are persons who have worked on similar projects successfully in the past. Assistance comes in the form of ideas or resources that will enhance your capability. You avoid giving up because you have stayed on it for too long.

Celebrate the small achievements and successes you get along the way. Victories come in the form of bricks that build up to an entire house. The small victories will add up into one major win that you have been targeting. Celebrating the small wins gives you the motivation to go for the bigger ones.

Take chances by changing the strategy whenever the need arises. Things do not always go as planned. By being open to change, you have a realistic feel of the ground. Do not force circumstances if they do not fit. The detour, however, should be to your advantage or to help you get to the target faster. Take care not to change the target because you will be working on a different project altogether.
