The Joyful Habits Of Believers

By Mark Sanders

People who give their lives to Christ enjoy tremendous benefits. According to them, peace and total satisfaction can be derived. There are many joyful habits that these worshipers exhibit as they carry out God's plan. Most of these habits have been outlined here to encourage you to imbibe them.

Seed sowing is one of the practices that the individuals carry out. It can be in form of sacrificial giving to people. According to them, people are instructed by God to give their possessions to the poor. Gifts such as money, food, clothes, and others can be presented. The presence of the Holy Spirit in every true worshiper makes the individual become willing to obey this instruction. These Christians are fully aware of the abundant blessings that await every generous giver and faithful tithe payer.

Active worshipers of God depend on the scriptures for survival. They pray regularly and abide by the word of God because of their belief that constant study of the scriptures and effective prayers will make them grow spiritually. They choose specific places such as mountains and other secret praying centers to carry out this assignment.

Believers enjoy preaching the Good News to other people. They consider evangelism to be a major task that must be carried out in order to reduce the rate of unbelievers who die every day and go to hell fire. According to the leaders of the church, people are encouraged not to give up in this duty but to set up different programs and gospel outreaches to achieve this purpose.

Elders and teachers act as counselors to the children in the ministry. Most times, these young people visit them on regular occasions to learn how to behave well in their homes and the society. They also learn the principles and values of the community and form certain habits that are expected of them in their various schools and organizations.

Christians cultivate their talents and also use them to strengthen other believers in the church. Their regular practice makes it possible for them to cultivate different methods and styles of praising God. When groups are formed, these singers can effectively discharge their duties to the congregation and also spread the gospel of God through the process.

On most occasions, believers are advised on the risks of associating themselves with other people who are not true worshipers. Fellowship meetings and other special activities that will increase their spiritual growth and overall functioning are enhanced. The leaders organize follow-up programs in order to check the activities of the members at home and their work places in order to encourage them in their daily work with Christ.

People who serve God usually celebrate Him with others. These Christians visit the deprived people during important festivals and other special events. New Year celebrations, Christmas periods and other special events are examples of events where special love and attention are given to children who have lost their parents. Even the disabled, the poor, and the less-privileged are visited during this period.
