Womens Empowerment Coaching In Economics And Politics

By Brenda Morris

Two areas in which there is far less equality than others are economics and politics. As such, there are a number of womens empowerment coaching workshops devoted to these areas. While this is the case, it should be noted that there are also areas of personal and work life in which women are still fighting for equality.

As there are often setbacks, these coaches work to help instill a better sense of self-awareness and self-confidence in these women. In most cases, these individuals coach women in the economic sector. While this is the case, there are also others whom work in the political and other sectors in which women are few and far between.

While the onset of the internet has provided women the opportunity to empower oneself, there are still a number of women whom prefer to acquire a life coach. For, while there are tools on the internet which can assist women in various areas of life, the feedback a coach can provide is often far more beneficial. Whereas, while one can look up information related to positive thinking and self-reflection, it also helps to have someone to talk to while going through the process.

There are blogs and forums related to a number of issues related to domestic violence, sexual harassment, sexual assault and other issues which women are often afraid to talk about in public. As a result, women can connect with others whom are going through the same situations, often on an anonymous basis.

Even though the fight continues for equal pay for equal work in the workplace, women also need to make strides in other areas. Some of these include the business, political and technology sectors. Whereas, there are also jobs which have often been thought of us as better for men such as fire and police personnel in which women are now quite active though more are needed in order to balance out the sexes.

While LGBTQ discrimination and racism have somewhat overshadowed discrimination of women, there have been a number of sites which have been removed from social networks which were created with the intention of spreading hatred toward women. There have also been blogs and postings which have been removed from the internet. While this is the case, there is an ongoing battle with regards to free speech from those whom are still trying to keep these sites up and running.

Currently, there are far more social networking and blog posts related to womens rights than other areas. In many cases, the best blogs and websites associated with equal rights were created and are maintained by women. Whether stay at home or professional, women often have a lot to offer when it comes to posting and sharing on these sites.

Ultimately, women have come along way when it comes to obtaining equal rights such as the right to vote and work in the positions as men. While at the same time, there is still a great deal more work yet to be done. As such, it is important that women continue to empower one another, especially when it comes to equal pay for equal work while also becoming more involved in the political sector.
